Purple Dragon began in Trinidad & Tobago and has grown into a globally respected martial arts organization. Founded by Grandmaster Professor Don Jacob in 1970, our East Vancouver Dojo is now led by his eldest son, Shihan Daniel Jacob, a 6th Degree Black Belt, World Champion, and Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee. For the past 20 years, we have proudly served the Mount Pleasant community with age-specific programs that blend various martial arts styles, including Karate, Aikido, Judo, Jiu Jitsu, and Kickboxing.
